Default I could use your expertise. This is my first time.

This is my first year growing tomatoes, i started them from seed indoor. It was actualy alot easier then i anticipated. For my first year ever i feel ive been blessed with a green thumb.

The plants are doing great, I've been using a all purpose Miracle grow and crushed egg shells for the calcium. Until now the fruits are growing great, except for this past week I've noticed some deformalitys.

I need your guys help to identify these things because im not sure what it could be?

1 - About 30% of the fruit have problems from picture #1

2 - This morning i found two tomatoes with diffrent deformalitys picture 2 & 3.

As far as the first photo, I can't help you. But the second and third ones happen sometimes, and they don't affect the edibility of the tomato, they just look funny. In the third photo, the line that goes to that little indentation, I have heard the line itself referred to as stitching.

Best of luck with your season!

They are all examples of catfacing. Not harmful, just unsightly and something you need to cut around when eating. It happens more in some types of weather than others. No worries.
