early years, maybe 3 years ago (think 5):

this is when I built the greenhouse/deck and garden, maybe year 1. the buckets are all gone and maybe 10 bigger beds added....... so still a noob. previously had garden in different location, but that was 2-3 beds built with landscape timbers........

it rained so much the bird seed grew.....

we got 4 new baby chickens to put in the coop de' ville......

thanks sdambr, a work in progress - but it's fun to be creative. trying to keep the grass mowed down this week, 8" standing after 2 weeks of str8 rain. finally able to get some equipment on the turf. vroooom, vrooooom.

I did not build the coop, found a guy on craigslist who delivered. Inside is welded wire, so other than cleaning out the shavings, isn't a problem yet. Everything is screwed and glued and very easy to move place to place with the wheels.

With the garden going full tilt and the grass growing 1" daily, side projects are on hold. It is knocking on 100 str8 temp, with high humidity - sprung a leak watching the weather at 0600.

The coop was designed by this guy about 5 years ago and he has tweaked. Western red cedar, easy access to laying area, etc..... I looked at a few coops at the tractor supply, but they were flimsy garbage. Will probably build a bigger run in the fall.

There are a lot of skilled builders in this area, and like to support the local craftsman in certain situations. He delivered as well.
