Thanks for keeping us updated. Great looking garden.
Do you have problems with Moths ~ worms in fruit? On my original plants, I covered at night with tulle when I saw the first pickle worm in one of the cucumbers. WOW ! You really keep the cucumbers pruned; I'm trying to keep my test group contained. At least on these 2 plants, I'm doing tulle from the beginning so they won't ever get out of hand like the last group. Should have planted Sweet Success that isn't bee dependent. I love your cages too; so tall. They look ideal - that is what I want for the fall season. |

Looking great, as usual Raybo!
I have to say that the production from my tainers this year has been the biggest ever, and it's not close! That said, after holding their own for a long time, the last 3 weeks of May with rain nearly daily put the disease ahead to stay. One little patch of gray mold turned out to be far, far more significant and between that and other disease, things got really ugly foliage wise. Still, all plants hanging in there (black cherry the most feeble) and me looking for new ways to prepare tomatoes! Gazpacho tonight! Heat beater like none other! |

Thanks Folks for the kind words.
Anne - yes green grass - lot's of Spring rain this year. Shrinkrap - The cages are held together with Wire Rope Clips: Very handy hardware component! Dewayne - glad to hear you got a good crop before mold hit. Folks over in the Austin area had an even more difficult Season, from what I heard. Near 100 here this week, so time to work inside.
