Rust in containers
I was cleaning out one of my old Earthtainers (from a model made ~7 years ago), and I noticed some rust where the cage is attached to the Earthtainer. I've attached a picture. Is rust in a container still safe? Just want to make sure I'm not accidentally poisoning my family growing tomatoes. Thanks!

Rust is only iron oxide about the same thing that is in ironite along with sulfur the stuff you put on the soil to give them iron.
You certainly wont have an iron deficiency if you keep the soil on the acid side. Worth |
