Todays Chile Harvest
Here is my harvest from today. The large red chile are the only sweet ones-Corno Di Capra. The other are cayenne and serrano.

Michael,
Nice looking bunch of peppers! Will you dry, process/grind them? I just ground some Kung Pao and smoked Chapotle I've had dried for two years. Still got a kick bang taste. I forgot to take a picture, but I put up [froze after smoking, peeling, and deseeding] enough pimentos today to make 8 batches of pimento cheese. Also made 2 cases of Annie's Salsa using Trinidad Perfume, Datil Sweet, Aji Dulce II, Aji Chachuca?, Gypsy and Big Bertha. Ended up rosy hot.

Earl-The Corno di Capra are already history-had them with some buffalo burgers-roasted and then some evoo and sea salt. Also had some Sandia Green Chile. The Cayenne and Serrano, what is not eaten fresh, I dry and then grind them as needed with a coffee bean grinder.
The Sandia was very hot. Took my breath away.

Lovely plate of goodies, Michael! Wouldn't mind a corno di capra right now, even though I've just had lunch. Actually, all of the little ones look enticing, too.
What's the DTM for corno di capra?

Spatz-I suspect the dtm for me was about 80 days-but I could be wrong. I didnt note when we got first fruit off the plant. Its still producing new blossoms. I suspect there are about 25 or so fruit in various stages of development, and we have already harvested about 25 fruit. So I suspect I should get about 50-70 fruit from this container.

And how long can you normally keep on harvesting? Is this one in the greenhouse? Sorry bout all these questions.

Spatz-Its in a 15 gallon grow bag-not in the greenhouse. It should continue producing for at least 6-8 more weeks. It was 90 F here today, 32 C, and it should stay warm here until the the middle to the end of October. My new eggplant and tomatoes are doing well and should produce for the same period of time.
I just started germinating my greenhouse tomatoes yesterday. Plan on putting them in their 5 gallon grow bags in the greenhouse in about 3 weeks, if all goes right. So I grow in the greenhouse from about the 3rd week of September to May 1.
