Default frozen pepper seeds

I am just wondering if anyone knows if seeds from a frozen pepper will grow. I froze all my peppers by mistake and forgot to collect seeds from them beforehand.

I don't see that it would hurt any, you can freeze tomato seeds and by nature a lot of seeds get frozen during the winter only to sprout in the spring.

Thaw out a few seeds and try and plant/sprout them to see what happens.

I wonder why the seeds turn brown though. Is that a good sign of healthy seeds? I am curious too as if they would sprout or not too.
