Fruit Rot

Yesterday while removing an Arkansas Traveler that had been damaged by birds I also noticed a rotten green fruit on the plant. No black spots, just a mushy green fruit that practically fell from the plant when I touched it. I noticed the same thing on most of the fruit of a Celebrity I grew in an Earth box a few years ago. Any ideas?

Note, this plant is in the same bed where I noticed some lower leaves wilting recently, but that appears to have cleared up. The same bed has had one plant affected by BER and has also had a few signs of Early Blight

I had a lot of tomatoes explode due to heavy rainfall before. Don't know really what to tell you.

There are several fruit rots that are possible.

Do you see any lesions or spots on the exterior of the damaged fruits?

Can you tell if it starts at the stem end of the blossom end.

Please look at fruits just starting to go bad as well as those that are really a sac of water. And on the really damaged ones look for growth of white cottony areas as well.

It has only happened to one fruit so far. It was as if the fruit imploded and was such a mess I couldnt really make much of it, but I didnt see any lesions or spots. Sack of water is a good description
