My mouth is watering after reading this and seeing the photos. My only Jalapeno has few tiny fruits and the stores here do not sell them fresh. I'm still dreaming about the pepper section of the vegetable department at Pick'n Save...

I don't grow jalapenos most years, I grill and make poppers out all kinds of peppers. Cherry Chocolate, Alma paprika, Pilange, Bishop's Hat, Tomato...any pepper that will set well on the grill!
I've looked at those chile grills, too; but I always decide I have enough kitchen gadgets. One day, maybe... |

Heh heh!
A-growin' I certainly is! I must say though, my talent in the kitchen has not yet been 'realised'...I think I'll be sticking rigidly to these and other recipes! |

I have a friend who is a much better cook than she is a gardener; and since I'm a much better gardener than I am a cook, we make a good team. She's the one that came up with the basic popper recipe.

It's 10:30 p.m. and it's the middle of November, but I know there are some peppers on the plant in my front flower garden that haven't been hit by frost yet.
I am THAT close to going out there, picking them, and fixing me some poppers. Yeah, I'm hungry too.
