I keep mine in the cellar, spread apart and covered....keep out of light.
When I harvest I let the small ones remain as volunteers....they do just about as well. Here my season is short so the fall harvest is IT...then we wait for frost and SNOW. |

Ive heard that,yes they are poisonous but that you would need to eat vast amounts before you suffer any ill effects,just how poisonous and what specifically are the effects i would be interested in learning more about
