Hey Damon,
Been great Fall weather for the most part. Thanks for the Garlic offer - - but my system simply can't handle it very well. Planted 2 'Tainers of Tendersweet Carrots today. Not sure how they will do as with the low angle of the Sun now, they only will get about 2 hours of direct sunshine per day. Anyway, I've never tried carrots in the EarthTainers before, and with the soft potting mix, I am hopeful they will grow to a good length. Also put in some radishes too. Had to top off the Indian Stripe this afternoon, as it has grown over the top of the 78 inch cages. Happy problem to have, I guess. A couple of large I.S. are now blushing, so looking forward to these until Christmas (or later) if the weather cooperates. Raybo |

Ray,
Thanks...will look forward to what the snow peas may show, although I'm mostly interested in how they might work together on my tomatoes to keep disease away. Tom |

Talon,
I have had a few Legend tomatoes, and so far, I am not impressed. Bitter, with thick skin. Big Beef, Indian Stripe, B&B Boar are so much better. I even preferred the taste of Siberia over Legend. I will let the plants develop a bit more before final decision on repeat 'Tainer home next Season, but so far, it won't make the "cut". Raybo |
