Marek---like the set-up ... I only use mine for seed starting and it cost less than $40, but if I ever grow more indoors I like your set-up.

I think inexpenensive and easy would be best for me... thanks to everyone who has replied! I've looked at all suggestions, and FYI I'm looking for a grow light no more than 2 feet long. Small grow space.
Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it. Taryn |

fyi - 4' fixtures and tubes are not expensive as they are the most commonly used. shorter sized equipment can be expensive as it's not purchased that much and therefore costs more. if you have the space use 4' lights.

U are probably running 2700K. At that Kelvin level your not getting good development. This can be looked up by looking up the brand and the model number, or I can help...Try using daylight 6500K as well as the ones you have.

The 4' x 4 tube T5 fluorescent light fixture that I bought came with 4x 6400K bulbs.
Should I swap out two of the 6400k tubes for something in the 3000k range? Think it would make a difference? Thanks. |
