Once I found out it was systemic, and not just water resistant (another call to the company), I decided to just go ahead with the the garden safe and the liquid copper and cross my fingers. The whole thing with the downey mildew also boggled my mind, not what I considered the most prevalent tomato disease myself, but I know little about disease, so I figured they knew something I didn't...not. I have NEVER had to spray my tomatoes for disease before, not once in twenty years, not for insects either. Squash and cukes I've sprayed for downey or powdery mildew but never anything on my tomatoes. This year has not started out well, that's for sure.
