I hope I will find some seeds in the tomato I have 3 more fruits on the plant.
Actually the Hazel Mae plant survived the blight, meaning that it continued to grow new foliage and produce fruit after the late blight outbreak in early July that killed all its neighbors in the same greenhouse (with another exception being Dr. Neal)

It is a great tomato, no doubt. I only got 1 fruit with very few seeds, so I will not be offering it this year, unfortunately. The plants did not survive the blight.

I got a few varieties that I think I can qualify as 'survivors' - as they continued to grow and produce. Some of them may not have enough time left in the season to ripen fruit, but they still look healthy, so I will list them here also:

It has a balanced but quite strong taste. I think it also will be perfect for pickling/canning.

Alice and Alice's Egypt are different tomatoes. I have a bit more historical info on Alice's Egypt and Gildo Pietroboni at TOMATObase: http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Alice%27s_Egypt http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Gildo_Pietroboni Both are excellent. I loved them in salad. Rich and sweet, with very few seeds. I will not be able to offer Gildo P. this year, as there is not enough seeds, but I may have more fruits from Alice's Egypt plants later, so I keep my figers crossed to collect more seeds.

The seeds are drying now, and should be available in the online catalog in a week.

Thanks Tania, I should have thought to check your very useful and informative database on the Alice's Egypt. So, reading the notes, it sounds like that one is quite juicy and therefore perhaps not ideal for pasting in jars. How about the other. Which of these varieties would you say offer the best tomato paste potential while maintaining good sweet tomato flavor?

Now there's a list of names with which I'm fully unfamiliar. They all look like great candidates. Thank you kindly for the suggestions.

Peppers from my garden
I also picked a few ripe peppers, some of these were the first ripe fruits, hence often mis-shapen. These are all sweet peppers.
#1 Melrose #2 Ozarowska #3 Quadrato d'Asti Rosso #4 Tequila Sunrise #5 Trapez #6 Etiuda
