If it is TSWV, this page has quite a bit of information on control of thrips:

Today I took my plants to the extension office, and.......
I have tomato russet mites!

So they tested the plants and looked at then through the microscope that that it's what they discovered.
I am relieved that it was not a virus.

They are that small. Need 10 x mag to see them. Sulfur should be the organic solution

Well, that is kind of a relief (it is not a viroid or virus carried by insects
that are impossible to control without a screened in growing environment,
you do not need a bulldozer to get rid of all of your contaminated soil,
etc).

It may be a pain to deal with, but it could have been worse.

I know I almost cried with relief when the guy told me. But I am sick today, so don't really feel up to going out and spraying. I stayed home today. My wife has the flu, and I think I am getting it.

Several of us have had to deal with tomato russet mites, including Ray who posted some good pix also. I used sulpher last year with good success and had a great crop. Good luck. LInda

I read on a few other places 1-3 tablespoons per gallon of water. So I dragged my sicky self out there and mixed up some with a tbls of molasses for a sticker spreader and sprayed everything. Does anyone know how often I should spray?
