I have read about why certain animals weren't domesticated and the person use the example of what it takes to make a happy family.
It made a lot of things very clear. A couple has to have the same views on many things and if one of these isn't there it almost always leads to disaster. The same goes for animals and why so many weren't domesticated and only a select few are. All of these were domesticated thousands of years ago and nothing else after all of these years. Try to domesticate a Cape Buffalo and see how far you get. How about an antelope round up or maybe a kangaroo ranch or a grizzly bear farm. Not gonna happen. As for the question I always separate seedlings even if it kills one. You just cant have two plants competing that close together. Just like having two or more wives one or more always gets left out. The only place this works is in societies where the woman/wife is no more than a foot stool with no say so or rights. For seedlings if they are really close use a knife or shears. Worth |
