water pipes in most homes and probably the biggest majority of municipal water systems are PVC

PVC is also a better pipe to transport water, than the old iron pipe.
The iron stuff harbors all kinds of microbes and what have you. My problem with it is the production of it. There are some nasty chemicals involved as with any other plastic. Worth |
