Thanks all! I have to say I am impressed with Peppermania. I forgot to add shipping (it was only 0.75 cents anyway) and sent them an email. Beth answered back saying no big deal...she would send my order right out! I know it is less than a buck, but it is that kind of customer service that will bring me back!

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but had to get in on the Reimers bashing
I bought from Reimers and several varieties had no germination and others had mystery seeds. You don't know what you're getting and you're paying a lot. They aren't known for their customer service either. They insist you use their special soil and instructions for their warranty to be valid but honestly I'm not going to be sold into buying their products. I use www.tomatogrowers.com and chileseeds.co.uk but mostly I save and trade. |

Best place to buy unusual pepper seed
I buy my seed from the chileman.org. They have a very good range of peppers and pictures and details of each one.

Oh my gosh! I checked out Peppermania and now I'm hooked! I ordered six more varieties. I already have seven varieties going. I think if they get here quickly I can still grow them all this year. There's going to be a pepper forest all along the side of my pool and patio area. Salsa, pickled peppers, dried peppers...this is going to be so fun. Did I mention I'm the only person in this house who eats peppers?

I buy from Redwood City Seed Company. I have always find their pepper selection to be pretty good. I wish they had online ordering and retail outlets.

My order from Peppermania has already arrived! I think I ordered Wednesday night and they came today, Saturday. That's the fastest I've ever received a seed order, I think! They also included a lot of freebies, several of which I was curious about. I'll report back on germination but so far, I give two thumbs up.

Wow! I planted several kinds of hot peppers on Sunday and today, Thursday, over half of them have germinated. That surprises me a bit for hot peppers. So between the great pictures and descriptions on the web site, the super fast delivery, the 75 cent S&H, the five or six packets of free seed samples and the fast germination, I'd have to say that I'm really impressed with Peppermania. If you haven't checked that web site out, please do so! Fantastic!
