Michael, I grew it last year in a three gallon nursery pot and kept it in the shade. Lots of fruit and blossoms all year long.

Looks like a nice little mater. I think varieties like this are a God send for folks with limited space and would like to grow tomatoes.

Michael, nice looking baby plant! I'm glad you are growing this beauty this year. This is my favorite dwarf!

I am looking forward to growing it also. I started 2 plants and will give one to Sherry so we both will be able to try it out this year. Container Ted sent me the seed.

Michael, I would rate the taste pretty darn good. But you have to remember that a tomato has to be REALLY bad for me to not like it.

However, this tomato's color was very close to Tennessee Volunteers Orange. I don't think mine was as sweet as it might have been had I kept it in the sun. This tomato truly performed extremely well and got almost NO direct sunlight during the day.

Sherry:

Your fruit doesnt look like mine or Andreys-ours have a pointed end. It looks like most of yours dont-I can see one unripe fruit in your photo that has a pointed end. Am I right?

Some of the fruits were pointed and some were not. I don't seem to have a good picture showing the pointed ones. I'd say most were not.

Your Utyonok sure looks cool, and I might be tempted to try it some day. I was going to grow Juhas this year (a determinate Polish commercial variety, you have access to several, I guess), but "late" blight took care of it in July.
