I bet the it would cost a fortune to have some shipped
To the US. Any good sources closer to the US?

Yes I have Utyonok. The seeds I grew last year came directly from Andrey. Nice compact little plant.

I'm still having seeds for Utyonok as well.

Most of my fruits in 2007 and 2009 had pointed ends, but some are not. I'm sure my seeds are from original pack from Sedek Seeds (Russia).

How would the flavor compare to Jaunne Flamme? and which one would you grow yourself if you could only grow one?

This is my first time to grow Utyonok and Im looking forward to tasting it.
The only thing that concerns me is the amount of leaf roll that I'm seeing with this
particular plant. Is this variety prone to leaf roll?

The plant I grew in my winter greenhouse did not do that.

I have some plants in gallon pots right now. While they are not as big as your plants and don't have fruit yet, they aren't showing leaf roll at all. The gallon pots aren't their ultimate growing spot either. Those are "for sale" plants right now but may get planted out next week.

My web site isn't organized very well. If you don't know what year I got a variety you would miss it right now. Eventually I need to get things organized by type and or color. But thats a job for when I have some spare time (yah right).

Looking forward to a nice fall harvest. Going to start them indoors in a few weeks. I have enough light to grow these indoors 24/7, if I'm reading the height of these plants correctly - about 1-1.5ft...?
