I think whenever you apply any chemical compounds to plant leaves or to the soil, the effect on different organisms is going to be a mixed bag. Some may be inhibited, some may be increased, and for some there may be no significant effect. I haven't seen any evidence that Neem Oil could be called an actual bactericide although some products sold for human use may claim that is effective against some pathogenic bacteria.
I wouldn't be concerned with it in the mix with Actinovate. Serious bactericides like Copper based products, Bleach or Hydrogen Peroxide would be bad. |

How deep is the potting mix in your bed?
I might have missed it, so thought I'd just ask.

In the wooden one? It is about 14-15 inches deep. All MetroMix 360

Thanks for the quick reply
I'm very impressed with your Sub-Irrigated planter method of watering the plants. I'm in the process of converting one of my raised planter beds to this design. My beds are only 12" high, so I'd end up with only 8" above the drain tile, that's the reason for my question.

Oh, I see. You could use it for other vegetables that don't require deep soil. Then you could build another one

The temps are in the mid 90's today and tomorrow. Do I need to do anything special?
Yesterday, it was like hurricane force winds. UGH Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Probably just keep an eye on them, see if they wilt any during the day.

I think everything turned out okay. I made sure they were watered in the morning so they didn't dry out. I also placed some cut maple trunks around the base of the ET to help keep it a little cooler.

This is where everything is at currently...
I just don't understand why these two aren't happy. Especially the Black Krim on the left. Also, the Paul Robeson is twice its size. Not sure what to do with them...
