After the first round there were no more catalogs for awhile but last week Baker Creek, Seed Savers Exchange, Johnny's and Park came. Today I finally got the last of my coveted catalogs, Southern Exposure. I have already placed my Baker Creek order, have made a list for High Mowing and Seed Savers. Now I can finish my orders with Southern Exposure. A friend gave me some black crowder peas that she grew from them and they were the best peas I have ever had.

Ah, you're the first person I've heard has gotten their SESE catalog in the mail!
We (which is to say, mostly me) don't have the website switched over yet for 2016 -- will be making the change Thurs. morning. |

I like to order what I call southern vegetable seeds from Southern Exposure. So many people think they don't like collards because all they have tried are the Georgia collards. I love the Yellow Cabbage collards and the Alabama Blue. I was sad to see the Alabama Blue will not be available in 2016.
I only save seeds from beans, peppers and tomatoes and never tried collards before. When I saw it was not available I pulled out my Seed to Seed book to make sure I do it right. I cannot be without that in my garden. |

We've got growers in VA, SC, and AL growing out Alabama Blue for summer 2016 harvest, so here's hoping we'll have it back in next year's catalog!!
We've still got about 25 packets left, so we'll be leaving it up on the SESE website for at least a few more days yet, or if you'd like to trade for a seed packet, PM me. |

Oh boy! Horizon Herbs and Tomato Grower's Supply! It must be the new mailman. Hmmm... I wonder why the last one transferred?...
