Maybury Cherry? Is that the one that Lisa claims Barney Fife confiscated from Ernest T. Bass's garden of contraband?

LOL! I think you're both wrong! I think it was BARNEY who kept the seed in his pocket!
I did finally get my ordered seed from said culprit on Monday. Will be seeding that this weekend. I got a ton of heirloom seeds I ordered from bribbon the other day. I purposely got Purple Dog Creek from both places just out of curiousity (plus I was afraid I wouldn't get it from the former in time). If they both germinate, it'll be interesting to compare them. |

Barbee!
The sad thing is that I can hear it in my head like I heard it yesterday instead of years ago. |

There will never be another Barney Fife.
I keep crossing my fingers that the "lets do a remake" insanity in Hollywood stays clear of Mayberry.

I like when Barny bought the used car and the one where he was hired by the state police.
How about the speed trap he was busting the truckers with. Don played in The Ghost and Mr Chicken it was great. One of the few movies I saw as a kid in a theater. That darned organ scared the hell out of me. Worth |

I also remember him in "The Incredible Mr.Limpet", very cute movie! I loved how they made the fish Don Knotts look kinda like the human Don Knotts.

The Haunted Organ by Vic Mizzy is available on iTunes.
I have the first five seasons of Andy Griffith on DVD. Don Knotts was comedic gold!
