Nice pics! I get birds like my Chickadees, but not bluebirds. I wish I did!
Your dogs are adorable. Remy

Craig,
The pics of your dogs remind me our when we had for Chocolates in the family. My parents got one, supposedly guaranteed against hip displasia (sp?) and so were given another one by the breeder. The younger of the two had a litter of 10 pups and my older bro and I each kept one. And they'd take over every available couch or cushy chair in the family room if you let them, since they wanted to be with us, draped over us like lap dogs. And if they couldn't drape over us, they draped over each other. If they were all with you, and you were the only one home when it came time for bed, it got really interesting when the pecking order was asserted. In my case, my own would try to take pride of place curled beside me on the bed, while the 2 older ones pushed the other pup out. All the while changing positions through the night. They never fought or nipped or growled when doing it. The oldest used to "scold". We have a bird feeder outside of the kitchen window and its frequented more by squirrels than birds...which drives our black lab and drove our Westie nuts. One of the squirrels particularly likes to torment/tease the dogs, sitting on the window ledge looking in at them on the other side of the pane. Biddy liked nothing better than to chase squirrels. I hope she is still doing it and manages to catch some occasionally, up in doggy heaven. And she used to scold the black lab, as the alpha female. Go figure! |
