I've still got a Vivitar 70-210mm Macro-Zoom lens for my 35mm camera that I would like to find a way of mounting on my digital camera. Wuuuuf !!!

I am afraid that the technical information to accomplish these incredible end results may be too sophisticated and equipment required too expensive for most common folks such as yourself

All right, here is what I did:

1. I Scotch taped a high magnification magnifying glass right in front of my digital camera.
2. Set the camera on a tripod.
3. Set the digital camera on "Aperture Priority" with high F stop.
4. Use the self-timer to avoid any vibration.

Done!

If your camera's got mirror lock up, that will help too.

Very impressed that you got that with just a magnifying glass taped to the lens.

Wow, beautiful pictures!
Now you need to take an electric toothbrush, force a bloom to shoot pollen and get that in a pic. that would be cool

Geez, dcarch ... as if I didn't have enough to do around here

, now I have to go find a magnifying lens and try this myself.

Absolutely amazing closeups! Now, how about doing a YouTube video on crossing tomatoes? It'd be helpful to see a video clip of the slicing and dusting procedures up close.
