Default Is this Dundicut?

The peppers look like a square shouldered, tapered purple jalapeno, about 3 inches long so far. I don't know how big they will get. The shape seems like Dundicut (I've only seen pictures, but the color (purple/black)makes me think that they are something else. The seed came in a trade with a note saying (received in a trade, haven't grown it). I'm growing Purple Jalapeno next to it, and they are very different, the
Jalapeno is not so thick at the shoulder, and much smaller (stunted in my garden).

Everything I've rad about the Dundicut says that it ripens to ruby red. It doesn't say anything about going through other color stages, which isn't to say that it doesn't. You may have to wait until it ripens.
