Default Is it from a disease?

Hi folks,
Wondering if anybody can explain to me what happened to my tomato(es).
I plucked out one of my tomatoes and glanced at it for a sec.
At the bottom of the tomato, there's a different colour to it (light brown). It's shaped similar as a star with black dots. I have 2 more similar tomatoes on one of my plants.
Is it from a disease? Is it edible?

The pic is below.

Thx

Not seeing the pic, but perhaps a mild case of blossom end
rot? (Usually it is a large, leathery brown patch, and you would
not eat it for anything, but mild cases can look like you describe.)

I've never seen anything like that before. Almost like it was sitting on something that shape. Was the tomato sitting on the ground or hanging?

Have you cut through the skin to see if the flesh underneath is affected?

Well, I would not know exact but it makes sense "blossom end rot." Why,..I do not know. My other 2 tomatoes are still blossoming,... 1 is green and the other is orange. They look the same as the original tomato (bottom problem) yet a little browner.

The tomato was hanging. Once plucked, it was examined.

There was a brave soldier this morning that tested the tomato. The whole tomato was smooth yet a little hard. Once the tomato was peeled and sliced, the light brown part was fine inside. It was the skin that was only damaged. Once the person ate the tomato, it tasted like a lemon (a lot of acidity). The tomato weighed 50g. I do not think the person that ate the tomato can get sick but he's being monitored.

Thx all
