Just when you think it's over
This morning the wife and I did our Saturday shopping and afterwards I went down to the local car wash and cleaned the car of all the salt and dirt from the melting snow and now this. Ami

Another three inches of snow for us yesterday preceded by half inch of rain/freezing rain/sleet. Another six inches predicted for tomorrow. We are getting sick of the "pretty scenery" already. We are above 60 inches of snow and ice. Bring on spring.

Ami, please don't send your snow northwards! Here the streets are clean again (but not my car, I was too tired to do so) and we even had a wonderful blue sky - you could imagine coming spring... clara

It even snowed in Florida last week. One more thing to blame global warming for......... Does anyone remember when El Nino was blamed for everything?

Here's what I found this morning. All you see on the street is one set of footprints. Must be the paper delivery man's. Ami

We will get more snow this afternoon from what is left of a storm which hit Sweden yesterday. The temperature is -19°C, so the snow will be light weight.
There is quite strong breeze with the cold temperature, so no skiing on the sea today. Is this the beginning of a new Ice Age?

Sorry about all the snow Ami. Usually I would not be thinking anything about snow in East Texas but they have forcasted 2 snow days this next week. Am way behind on all my plants and seeds. Kinda waiting to see what will really happen. Thing is next week it is bound to be 80.

I sympathise with you all, but we haven't had much snow at all. Our normal allowance is 15 feet over the winter, but this year to date just 18 inches.
The lower states always blame the snow coming down from Canada, but not this year. |

I am so glad that I dont have snow to contend with, but from the pictures you took, it looks like its beautiful enough there that the snow might be worth it.

I have to say I like it! A selfish motive really. I have 12 dogs here and snow is much preferable to mud! Keith, Lempi and Ailli are great doggies, but they would have made it 14.....that is at my upper limit to care for!

Time to dig out the clear poly sheets and cover the containers.
