Faux worm
I went out to check my plants today, pinched off some weak leaves and stems when I looked up and to my horror saw what looked to be a caterpillar or possible hornworm.
I reached out to tap it off and it didn't budge, so i moved closer it wasn't a worm at all!! I had never seen anything like this before, I sure hope it doesn't draw birds in like it did me hehehe Larger picture of the leaf and stem |

It is one of my Surprise Tomatoes, I think it is a Potato leafed Variety, Averaging 10 blossoms per cluster ( I think I said that right)
I call this one ST-1, I seeded it March 7th, It germinated march 10th, Transplanted to ground May 4th, Flowered May 12th, Has fruit starting May 28th. I can't wait to see what it is and taste it ) |
