Triple Cots
Got started late on my seed flats due to the move. Happened to look over leaf shapes today and found a triple cotyldon in one of the tomato trays. Then, I happened to notice one of the peppers had triple cots.

does the one with three cots have any true leaf buds in the leaf joint? I had one this year that had two cots, but no leaf buds. I left it alone for two weeks, and the cots got bigger, but nothing else. I reluctantly strangled it yesterday...

I have a tomato plant with three cots this year, it has true leaves but seems to be developing slower then the rest of the plants.

Your plant sounds like a "MULE" - two big ears and nothing else. Ted

I had a Tidy F2 dwarf that had 4 cots and it is a normal looking plant now. I thought it would turn out to be nothing. Oh...it's a dwarf plant also.

I have one with the opposite situation ... normal cots, but 3 true leaves and no subsequent growth. It's been this way for probably a couple weeks now, although the existing leaves continue to get larger.
