Stunted Growth
Right now, I have a few seedlings of Momotaro and green zebra. I noticed that their growth stopped after the the first true leaves appeared... They are close to four weeks already yet their condition haven't changed at all. what might have caused this? I'm using the same brand of seed starting potting mix since I started this hobby. this is the only time I experienced this problem with tomatoes.
thanks in advance. |

I am having this exact same issue with bell peppers. They simply have stopped growing and have been the same size for 1.5 months now. I posted two pictures here: http://citygirltocountrygirl.wordpre...t-green-thumb/
I added calcium and have stopped watering them as often as I used to. No change so far. Can anyone help?

take outside, but be careful with wind/sun. when you transplant they love a little bone meal.

In my case my plants have stopped growimg probably because of the water i've been giving it. It's hard water. Water from our deep well. I've been using rain water since. My planrs have started to wake up from hibernation now.

There should be enough fertiliser in the seedling compost to last them before they are re-potted. You should not need to feed tomatoes until you see the first trusses. They do need at least 15 degrees to grow well, and good light is really important.
