Grow Light ?
Someone local offered me a SunMaster 400w grow light, reflector, 400w ballast, and a mess reflective material for $50.00. Would this $50.00 help these guys?

whats going on c.t. i use the same setup for my spring plants. start them under floros. and then move them under 400 watt metal halide with a large hood. room is coated in mylar. this year was my first time using this setup. worked excellent. started about 3 feet above the canopy, went down to 2.5 feet after a week. strong plants. the light fixture is going to generate some serious heat. the room mine was in stayed between 65- and 68 degrees. when the light came on, it shot to 75. i have a window near the fixture and had a fan blowing in cool air from outside. i have mine in a 6x6 closet. i only filled half the room, next year i will fill the entire room. they will need more ferts and potting up more under theses lights. i used dyna gro every watering, potted up 3-4 different times. best tomato starts i have ever had. 50 is a good price. i was given mine, i think it ran my buddy $600.00 new. a lot of info on the web, only thing is, you will have to frequent reefer growing sites. if you use it, pm me if you need any more of my trials and tribulations. cant use it now because my house is a constant 78 degrres. i turned it on for a day and the temp in the closet got to 86. to warm i believe. i just used floro. for fall starts. didnt look as good, but have taken well now planted out. take care.
