Looks like Anthracnose. What do you have for a fungicide FILMNET?
Chlorothalonil, Baking Soda, Neem Oil and Copper fungicides are supposed to control it. Maybe some others. |

I spray my cucumbers with a mild bleach solution whenever anything like this appears and it usually clears it up but the diseased leaves sometimes wither and die. I also spray them with Daconil as a preventative each week.

Ya, cucumber leaves are real sensitive to strong chemicals and oils. I've been battling cucumber beetles myself and I started with a spray of Pyola (Pyrethrin and Canola Oil), but I think I mixed a concentration in my haste that was too strong and caused some bad leaf burn. A light misting at a 1% concentration works fine as a knock down insecticide against Cucumber beetles and hasn't caused any leaf burn.
As part of my strategy against cucumber beetles and also as preventative against Powdery Mildew I've been experimenting with Neem Oil. A 1% spray solution of Neem Oil in water with a little surfactant works well on cucumber leaves and hasn't caused any burn and I drenched the plant with the stuff to run off. |
