Not sure what's wrong with it but it doesn't look likely to recover so you might as well get it out of there. Hope it's the only one!

This plant in in the middle of my garden and the only plants which have this now. I have squash maybe 10 ft from this plant but the squash has leaves under this plant now. i hope it is not from the squash plant.

Do you see any cuke beetles on your squash. And I shouldn't probably even bring this up but they can transmit, whoops, forget it b'c the Bacterial Wilt of tomatoes is not the same bacterium that causes Bacterial Wilt of cukes, melons and squash. You might want to try cutting a portion of the main stem of that plant low down on the plant, stick the cut end in a glass of water and see if you see the milky white streaming of the bacteria.

I did pull it out today, thank goodness its no problem for me to kill this plant, Its the only the P. Roberson plant I have. I did have a red fruit which was a Robeson plant last year I write about this one, It died after 40 days. Only 12 inch's high so maybe
these were bad seeds I have had,I will get new seeds for next years. learning every year here!!! |
