Default Not sure what this is

ok, so I have explored this topic for the last hour or so and everything I saw I thought oh, thats my problem. since I am thinking I don't have 20 different diseases I thought I would ask.

The first two pics are of my Gigantesque plant. I am growing in earthtainers. It started yellowing on the bottom and I just thought I had over watered the top since I probably watered from the top longer then I should have and it was probably getting water from the wick and the top. although I have stopped the top watering the yellow has continued up the middle of the plant. Not sure if it is related but every tomato that has grown ended up with Ber.

The other pictures are random issues with leaves. Everything continues to grow and there are lots of tomatoes but i am just wondering if I need to do something? I am really hoping that what ever this is it doesn't kill off all my plants. This is the first time for me in earthtainers and everything was growing so well....... any help would be appreciated.

Have you been spraying your plants with any preventative Fungicide?

Also, what varieties are exhibiting the yellowing?

I started spraying them a week ago, I am really new at this so didn't realize I should. the worst is the Gigantesque but most of them have some yellowing on the bottom. I thought it was because I kept watering them from the top even though they were clearly getting plenty of water from the bottom. The rest of the plants still look pretty healthy and have lots of tomatoes on them. but the all the tomatoes so far on the gigantesque has had ber. So for next year, should I start spraying them at the beginning? Also, should I be adding additional fertilizer to the water every couple of weeks? or are the strips of fertilizer enough for the growing season?

kpatrick925, it doesn't look like a fungal disease to me. More likely it's lack of nutrients combined with hot weather.

Once the plants take root after about 3 weeks from planting, there is no need to top water - - in fact, it can do more harm than good. It does look to me that the plants are too wet.

Thanks Marko, we haven't had much hot weather, maybe mid 80s for a few days but very cool in the evenings. our weather in this area can swing from 75-85 during the day down to 50s at night. Would this cause some of this issue?

Raybo, yeah, I knew I needed to stop but I guess I needed to learn the hard way. I am still thrilled with the earthtainers and how healthy the plants have been. Biggest plants I have ever had and most of them still look really healthy with just a little yellowing on the bottom. So I am assuming I should be spraying the fungal spray as a precaution? And for next year, should I start at the beginning? I have Garden safe which says it does three things and one is fungal I believe as well as different bugs and neem oil concentrate that I mix with water, is this ok? Also, for fertilizer, are the two strips of fertilizer that I put in at the beginning before planting good for the entire season or should I be adding supplements to the water in the tainers every so often and if so, how often should I do this? Thanks for all your help. I am still going to yeild more tomatoes this year then ever so I am not complaining, just trying to perfect the process for me.
