very dry season no disease!

i seldom have seen plants this late in the season that don't have some yellowing on the lower leaves and by now some have died off, the leaves that is. it has hardly rained here since late june and has been hot and dry. some humidity but not as bad as most summers. as a result the plants have no foliage disease, i think early blight is the one i usually have. mulching with straw helps but even that isn't a guarantee against yellowing leaves that dry up starting at the bottom and working up the plant. not this year!

Same here so far...but there's still plenty of time for things to go south.
