Divas not setting fruit
I have two hills of Divas this year and have only harvested a handful of cukes. The plants are always loaded with female flowers, but most of them abort. The cukes are planted among all my other curcurbits and the area is loaded with pollinators. What am I doing wrong?

Rich,
1) What are the current or recent day and night temps? (highs/lows) 2) How long have the plants been in? Or more specifically, how long has it been since you sowed the seed? 3) Do you have other cuke varieties currently in planted around the same time that are producing? |

This has been an all-season condition. I started them in late May and transplanted a few weeks later. The first few weeks after transplant were cool, then very hot for about a month and then more or less moderate for the last few weeks.
All my curcurbits were slow to get going, but with the warm weather everything took off - except the cukes. They have grown steadily - but not like I'm used to seeing. I think I've harvested about 5 cukes off the two hills. |
