Asian melons
I grew Sataka's Sweet melon this year. It is quite wonderful. It is sweet like a Honey Dew, but small like a fat cucumber and the rind is so thin you can eat it. It has a wonderful crisp texture. I had it growing near some Cantelope so I won't be able to save seeds, but I will be growing them again!
What are some other Asian melons that are good? Thanks, Tyffanie |

well ive grown melons for yrs and almost all classified as american this year i tried Early Silver Line which is asian i guess. anyway it outperformed everything else, tasted like um i dont no but whatever it tasted like its pretty darned good. texture was nice and soft but still crisp and also the earliest in the patch!! strong vine growth... its a keeper! i'd suggest it to any melon fanatic!!
i havnt grown any othe asian types but i plan on trying lots more next season!!
