The "RUNT"
This was supposed to be Cowlicks RL. I put it in a 10gal Smart Pot and all it did is sit there the whole season and basically did nothing. In September I removed it from the Smart Pot and replanted it into a pot and set on my window in my computer room next to an orchid plant that lay dormant for the last 6 years and now is blooming, last picture.
Anyway the runt is flowering so I will leave it on the widow for the winter and see what we come up with. Ami

Plants can be so interesting and challenging at times. I know some plants like to be more tightly bound (roots) than others....and not knowing much about smart pots, is it possible the regular pot is holding more water and the tomato plant prefers "wetter feet"? Either way, I think it's great that it is finally in a happy place and starting to flower! It will be interesting to see what happens, possibly smaller fruits, but please keep us posted
