Tonight's the Night!!!
2/3/2012 between 1:00 a.m and 3:30 a.m. I planted 6 trays of pepper seed with a total count of about 7000 seed. This is enough to fill my greenhouse about 1/2 full if they were all potted up into cell trays at once. By spreading it out over 5 weeks, I can fill trays up with plants 2 or 3 times and never have more than 1/4 of the greenhouse full of peppers.

What an impressive list of peppers! And you say your greenhouse will only be 1/2 full with the THOUSANDS of plants you're sure to have! Best of luck with all of these peppers, and the rest of your garden. I may have to hit you up for a trade!?! later in the season.

Darrell, do you plant more of certain varieties than others? If so, which ones? Just curious.

Update for 2/11/2012, seedlings have emerged for most varieties though a few are dawdling. I watered all trays earlier today and the peppers have been jumping though the soil since.
I grow these mostly as plants to sell. The total seedling count should run around 7000 plants. The most heavily planted peppers are: Boris Banana with about 1000 seedlings Declaration bell about 800 seedlings Cayenne about 800 seedlings Cowhorn about 600 seedlings several others have 400 to 500 seedlings.
