Pepper seed websites?
I am on the hunt for the last of my 2012 garden seeds. I am having great difficulty finding a lot of my varieties that I want at any one place. I'm interested in websites that have a great variety of sweet peppers and bell peppers. Can anyone point me in the right direction? The last of my list includes purple jalapeno, jimmy nardello, lilac bell pepper, (looking for a good) red bell pepper, orange bell pepper and a yellow bell pepper. The last of my tomatoes are African Queen, Amazon Chocolate and Sungold. I'm also trying to find tankuro edamame and purple passion asparagus (op).

Www.thehotpepper.com its a forum but has a marketplace to trade and look for varieties
Www.pepperlover.com Www.refiningfirechiles.com Www.semillas.de they have an English language button that show translated pages. Some things aren't translated but you will get the gist of it. The largest selection that I know of for peppers. Www.thehippyseedcompany.com look for neil on youtube. He does a very painful product review of all the peppers he grows. Www.junglerain.com.au

Wanting to find "all the good seeds" in one place just seems like a normal thing, like anybody would want. It's been a few years tho since I gave up and now look for the seeds I want the worst from whatever source. I think the Post Office makes as much off of me as some seed companies, lol. I save some seeds, so that helps. But even trading them, well there's the PO back in the game!
Another thing is different folks want different seeds so nobody can please everybody. Right now tho, I THINK I have all the seeds of pepper and tomato I want for 2012. Maybe I better check out the catalogs one last time... |

Hi Shannon. If you haven't looked at Native Seed Search & The Chile Pepper Inst. offerings ya might check them out for cultivars rarely seen. Consider 'Datil' pepper.

I've never found all my peppers at one place. Tomato Growers Supply has a big
selection. This year I have ordered from Peppermania, Pepperlover.com, and Chili Pepper Institute (NMSU). and this was for peppers only. I still have seeds from Tomato Growers Supply that I will be using this year. |

The Pepper Wevil & Spotted Wilt have cut back on my peppers after years of bumper crops. Have you found ways around?
