Default Garden Update - July 9

I've had some BER on a few varieties, but only a few fruit total. Overall the EarthTainers have exceeded expectations! The dwarfs are fun and I can't wait to try more varieties next year. I've only picked 4 ripe cherry tomatoes, but I expect some blush on others in the next week or so!

Its about to get exciting!

Riceolft,

Outstanding results!!!

Are you spraying with anything to keep the leaves as green as they are - - or are you going "commando" ?

Everything looks great! What kind of peppers do you have going?

I've been having some issues with BER in my containers as well, boy that's dissappointing to see one starting to color up only to find that it has BER.

"Commando" is the only way to go! Haha! I've had to prune 1-2 small branches at the bottom from most varieties that were yellowing, but I find thats the normal lifecycle of a tomato plant here and don't pin it on any particular disease. At least none I can recognize!

Our first frost was very late last year (into late October!) and none of my plants died before that, though a couple were pretty pathetic looking. I just assume the week of lows in the upper 30s/low 40s took its toll before that frost hit.

They're just orange mini belle sweet peppers that I got from the local greenhouse.
