Yellow pale leaves
Ok, I sowed a lot of pepper seeds together in a 3 inch container which grew wonderfully healthy indoors under lights for two and a half months. I hardened them off for a week and then transplanted them into the garden.. When I took them out of the container they were terribly root bound.. I do admit I was not tender separating them. Tugging and pulling away. I planted them, and now instead of the lush green color they were.. They have all turned pale yellow.. Are they saveable or will I have to buy plants from a nursery? TIA

Mine turn yellow from iron deficiency because our soil pH is so high. I use a little ironite when the leaves start to yellow.
It can also be nitrogen deficiency. Would help to see a picture. |
