Grafted tomatoe plants
I would like to know of the successes and pitfalls of using grafted plants. Are they worth the money?

If you have problems with soil borne diseases they could well be worth the cost or trouble if you graft your own. I have a terrible fusarium problem and the grafted plants have definitely helped with it. If I did not have that problem I don't think I would go to the trouble of grafting.

Regular application of a preventive fungicide is the only thing I have seen that works at all. It is a nasty disease and if you have it during a rainy spell it can be a total disaster like Gray Mold. I have never had it bad in the late summer and fall when it is drier here except one year when we had an extended rainy period for nearly a month.
