Default new growth dying

The tops of three of my plants have suddenly started dying all at once. I noticed it was a little yellow yesterday but thought it might be from the rain but now today the top have started dying off. My Rutgers, better boy, and mandarin cross all look like the attached picture. help!

For mine, I'm pretty sure it was heat stress, aggravated by thrips. The new raised bed is in full sun and the plants were a bit tender/used to being overwatered when I put them out. Some seem to be growing out of it, whatever it was, and I replaced a couple that weren't.

Do you think the overwatering from the rain could be stressing them out? It's a hard thing to google -- "tomato growing tips". If it is Gray Mold, what should be done?
