Brandywine from Croatia RL
Seed from Bill Jeffers who spoke highly of the RL version and now I see why. It is a long season variety and has good disease resistance and production with excellent taste. I grew it in the same bed as Dester and found the flavor to be better with the BFC-RL. Here are a few pictures of the fruit and the 4th shot is from a fruit I did not take as a whole just cut in half.

I received seed of BFC last year from Raybo. It was my favorite tomato last season. The fruits weighed about a pound each. A large healthy plant that for me produced later in the season. I will be sending seeds for this to the swap this year just as I sent seed for it to Heather's swap last season. This plant reminds me a lot of Terhune.

I received this tomato from Raybo and I think I met him at Basil in Berkeley, anyway what a joy it was raising that Croatian brandywine. It never stopped giving, thanks Raybo.

Raybo has given us a GREAT tomato! I do hope that more people will try to grow this one.
Once again, I have sent seeds out to this years tomato seed swap. It is a robust plant that requires staking. Very well-balanced flavor. Perfect for sandwiches.
