Orange Manga?

Anyone ever heard of this one? Google hasn't. I am suspicious it was a renamed plant in a nursery....

Supposedly a very hot pepper. The plant was purchased at Berkeley East Bay Gardens in CA and was the last one they had. Sorry, I dont have pictures.

I found "Orange Magno" which s apparently an orange bell pepper

Here in San Diego the locals would consider them medium - only slightly hotter than jalapeno. The Chichen Itza hybrid sold in the supermarkets here is a favorite - the heat is near that of habanero.

Yep, plenty of info out there about Manzano. Doesn't seem suited to my climate, unfortunately.

Nope, looks interesting though. I do like dwarf productive plants if the taste is good.

I will only grow a few hots for jellies and salsa. This year probably red and orange habs, aji limon and jalapenos. I might give the Manzano a try for just for giggles.
