Tomatoes from my trip to Sicily
I went back this summer to my birthplace, Sicily and found traditional tomato varieties.
These are assorted tomato varieties from my village Alcara Li Fusi in the Nebrodi Mountains of Northeastern Sicily. There are two cherry types which may show up in the pictures. One which is completely sphere-shaped is traditional to my area, but the other which is more of an oval/grape cherry tomato is not traditional and is a recent popular commercial Italian cultivar. The fruits below are of landrace(s) used for making sauce. I have no idea why your images didn't show. There's been a problem with them since a software update awhile ago.
I'll just put the links below. They are interesting looking tomatoes. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3733/1...83d5415b2c.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3681/1...22c533f815.jpg |

Yah I took back lots of seeds! & rxkeith, they have a pole bean called "ureddi 'i porcu" which means "pork intestines because of its characteristic shape. I will try to get a picture of it soon. (& I took seeds back from this one too!)
