I just noticed I was hijacking Carolyn's thread so I thought I would post another for anyone who wants to show off their 'maters and other goodies. I am completely new to gardening but thought I would share some pics

The top picture was taken 2 weeks ago on the 16th of April. The bottom was taken yesterday. Seeds were put in the soil on the 20th of March...they sprung up 7 days later and haven't stopped growing

Using Sunshine 4 soiless mix. 1/4 and 1/2 strength Miracle Gro's Tomato fertz (18-18-21) used on water day (1 week between use). Cold fluorescent lights on 16 hours a day and I don't have a germination mat so I use/used a Floor heater? (air heater thingy).

Cherokee Purple, Caspian Pink, Sweetie tomatoes and King of the North Peppers

How far north are you? I am curious because I grow Caspians to here in AK. They are mon ster yielders, but the foilage seems to suffer from the length of day, at least that's what I contribute their stressed look to. Anyway, just curious if others in the north have similar experiences. Huge yields, great taste, ugly leaves all summer.

Thanks...Trying! lol I made the mistake of waiting 2 weeks between ferts and they started to go south...luckily they're making a come back

Oh, here is a King of the North pepper shot. They seem to doing just as well (if not better?) than tomatoes. Again, same length of time, 35 day shot.
