I'm in love... :-)
I'm arriving late the party because last night at 48 years old, I picked my first ever ripe tomato from a plant. First one ever... lol. And I grew it! I'm totally in love with growing things now.
Thank you to everyone who has answered my newbie questions:-) Below is one of my plants. It has over 200 tomatoes on it (yes I counted them). Ginny |

Thank you everyone!! Marsha...I dont know. A friend gave us the plant when it was three inches tall. He bought some tomatoes on the vine from walmart last year and saved the seeds from them and grew a bunch. He said they were in a plastic container and they were hybrid. We totally thought since the plant was so healthy that it couldnt be tasty but its delicious. Not creamy like a good beefsteak can be, but way better than what we can buy.
So excited to grow some others even tastier. Ginny |
