Let's leave it here for now,but please remember to post in my Fall peformance thread for any varieties you got from me.

My seed source for this variety said 10 to 20 oz PINK hearts, but what you show sure looks red to me and I can't tell about the heart part.

How early was it? I have 5 of them planted - very wispy-leaved - slender branches - lots of suckers - fast growing - lots of flowers - starting to set - can't tell fruit shape/size/color yet.

Carolyn,

I thought there was thread for posting this but could not find it (my inexperience). Feel free to move the post anytime. This may seem stupid, but if you look at the pic while standing up and looking at the computer screen it is a lot lighter than looking straight on at it. And is more of true representation of the color. I, of course, will see what the other fruits look like as the one in the pic was the first one. As for the heart shape, I think this was a double blossom and one of the lobes looks a lot more like a heart than the other side.

If you stare at enough of them over the years you get the eye for maters like Carolyn has. I believe what she's refering to is it appearing red from what looks to be yellow skin. Which indicates a red tomato. A pink would have a clear skin and what I would call a smoother look to it if that makes sense. If I'm off base I'm sure Carolyn will be by to make corrections. Either way it's a great looking tomato. Let us know how it tastes. My personal vote is to put a nice slice of that on a bacon sandwich. Enjoy!
